Loving the new Pelikan. Needs a new refill since I'm required to write in blue.

The Jones household is an oasis of style in the desert of techno barbarity.

In school we had to write our essays with fountain pen. No ball point pens were allowed. One english teacher used to rip up homework written in anything other than fountain pen.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, back in 1st, 2nd, 3rd grade we used to have races in handwriting class to see who could finish the assignment first. I rarely won, and the only souvenir I took away from the experience is ugly handwriting, which I still sport today.
Basically, my handwriting is only legible if I write in all upper-case letters.

I'm not going to lie; I have a pen fetish. I have a bag with hundreds of pens.
I have one of these in my collection:

I still get a kick out of the ads that fit the content. I never knew there was a PensRUs.

I'm a bit of a pen addict also. My current favorite is a Cross C-series that was a gift from my wife.

I also have a full set of Mont Blanc Classiques in black/gold, a Mont Blank Classique in silver/gold (pictured below), various Namiki vanishing point fountain pens, a couple of Conklins, some Waterman, Aurora, Libelle, Pelican, etc.
I had to seriously curb my pen addiction. It's something that my wife doesn't understand mainly because I HATE to write with a pen...preferring to use a computer.
VG - is your Pelican a fountain pen? I'm asking because when I had to fill out a lot of forms, I found it impossible to use a FP if any of the forms were multi-part (carbon pages underneath).
