Gout
is it time for a seasonal thread on this? if not ignore me :-)
got Gout again. it's my own fault. I know better what not to eat & drink. been stressed by many changes lately & I resort to bad, old eating habits. especially at large holiday gatherings w/ family & friends
anyways the left foot is very mad at me. got on steroids, then they doubled the steroids, so I'm hopeful. no meat or alcohol in over a week. drinking lots of lemon water now. funny thing is, it came up in my arch at the top & on the outside top of the foot. making the whole midsection of the foot inflamed. highly unusual

Im on a one year no beer (or any other EtOH) challenge. I started trying to eat 7 fruit and veg servings a day. No more flare ups have occurred, not even that slight pain in the big toe joint that I always had between flare ups. Ive also lost some weight and my systolic BP is down from 150 to 125.
Steroids are awful on your system. Its time to make some permanent changes. Check out this guy for some inspiration along with the OYNB Facebook page. https://www.youtube.com/c/HabitsUnplugged
Good luck!
