Guyon's Canal Release Surgery Recovery

Just had Guyon's Canal release surgery a week ago Wednesday on my left (dominant) hand to correct a non-cycling related issue. Sutures come out next Tuesday (and not a minute too soon!).

I understand I've got a long recovery ahead of me but was just wondering if anyone else here has had this procedure and how long it was before they were back in the saddle?

I won't post picts because they're kinda gnarly but a quick Google search for those curious will show the affected area.
