That is a track hub. The big thread is for the cog and the smaller thread (left handed ) is for the lockring. A standard ISO threaded freewheel should fit on the large thread.

It all depends on the BCD of the current crankset. If it is 104mm (like the current model) you should be able to simply swap chainrings in any size from 32T upwards.
