Update-

So as suggested, I’ve changed the bar tape to black and changed the seat post to chrome. Much improvement! Next are the Saddle and the pedals! Thanks all for the help!
Also ordered the King Iris...

Really Beautiful. I have an Eddy Merckx too - just got it and will follow suit in doing some of the same upgrades. Love the modern retro look!
