13-26 is high? :wtf: A 28t big cog is only 3" lower using a racing 52/42 double. And the op's cluster would work perfectly with a 52/39 and a short cage rd. But not everybody is athletic.

For sure! I have a later generation set of braze-on Retrofrictions (smooth levers with cutouts) bodged on to a Huret clamp on my 72 PX-10. These will be more better, at least in my eyes.
