Switzerland takes the gold

Well done Fabian, enjoy your retirement, nothing like going out on top with a GOLD.

1 Fabian Cancellara (Switzerland)
2 Tom Dumoulin (Netherlands)
3 Christopher Froome (Great Britain)

Perhaps I am missing something in the etiquette-and please forgive me if I am-but isn't this what we call a spoiler? Should the thread title be edited to include the words "with spoilers"? Some of us dvr these things, some of us just watch the show in the evening, not sure why you have reported the results.

I forgot to dvr this so I'm bummed I missed out but psyched that Fabian won.
Froome in third isn't too shabby either.

Spartacus jumping up and down on the podium is my favorite moment from these Olymipics so far, and I thought the Maryland boys shouting "O!" during the national anthem was going to be tough to beat.
