The Colorado Classic
Has anyone in here spectated The Colorado Classic before?
I've got family in Colorado and they tell me that there's a big party atmosphere while the race is in town.
I guess my question is: Is it worth going to if I'm not an avid race enthusiast?

The Colorado Classic, in its upcoming incarnation, is new. Heck, last time I checked they haven't released the routes. They do have a really glossy website though: https://www.veloramacolorado.com/colorado-classic/
It should be entertaining and get good coverage, as the Pro Challenge ran out of steam. If it's a bonus of seeing the Fam in August, definitely come check it out. Good racing fans here and it should be a good time....

The last big Pro Race in Colorado, the US PRO Cycling Challenge, was a reasonably big deal, drawing some big name Pro cyclists, and had big crowds, at least by US bike racing standards, and a party atmosphere in many places.
This is likely to a little bit less of a big deal. But, I think if you're a cyclist, but not a huge racing fan, it would still be interesting to check it out.
If there's a stage with big climbs, ride to the top of the biggest climb before the race comes through, picnic hang out.
Or if the stages in Denver are a circuit race or crit, there's likely to be more of a party amosphere, and an opportunity to see the race multiple times, as you hop from bar to bar.
