Races on YouTube

I don’t watch much cycling from Apr to Sep (other than TdF), mainly because in Canada we don’t get great coverage. But around now I start searching for recordings of earlier races, such as the Tour of California (nice 45min videos on YouTube, from Endurance Sport Videos), and the Worlds. I like to watch these when on the trainer in the winter.

Any other channel recommendations for UCI or other races with English commentary?

Agreed. Tiz is my go to for out of season or for races that we don't get coverage for. The selection is terrific as is the video quality. I am also a YouTube cycling fan.

If you want some fun short videos, Velon.cc is a site which shows the on board footage shot during races. The average video is a couple of minutes but they do show some longer TV highlight shows.

Some of that on board footage is wild.

The quality on Tiz is a bit hit or miss as well as being able to get it to stream, but they do have the races that YouTube doesn't get.

My wife and I watch the Eurosport feed on YouTube (on the televison). This week we're watching the Tour of Algarve and the Tour of Andalucia. It's typically good, or better, quality and you usually get 30 - 40K of the race.

I had never heard of Tiz. Most of the race videos I watch, I do so on YouTube. Just did a quick look at the Tiz site (will look it over better when I get home from work); looks like it has lots of full stages that I've only seen the last 10KM or so on YT. Can videos be downloaded from the site like YT videos can?
