How long before his wins are erased, Weeks, months, years? I think it's dependent on popularity and how well you play with the official cycling organization heads. Since he doesn't ruffle feathers and has a likable demeanor it may be a long time.

Supposedly he had an extra puff of his inhaler before the stage that he got busted on. Should be another sad tale of UCI stringing things out then bowing to outside influences. This gets old fast.
IBTM, also.

That's exactly why I don't bother with pro teams/riders anymore.
I'd much rather go ride with my wife/friends, hang out at cross races or watch the Tuesday nights crits locally.
...and to think we were going to go to the Tour one day.

Yep, doesn't surprise me, either. A large percentage of pros, seem to have asthma . That's how you get to be a pro. KB

WAIT WAIT WAIT
Froomie says "I didn't do anything illegal."
edit: Exact words were 'this is not a positive test' and 'I haven't broken any rules'.
Lance Froome and his Team Sky High.

Provisionally suspended for doping at the UCI masters world track championships.
The video of the race is almost halarious. Basically a raging bull who just powered through the field.
The drug Froome was on "legally" does an interesting thing, allows the reduction of fat and helps rebuild muscle faster.
While your competitors are tearing their muscles down in the stage race, you are way out in front in the muscle rebuild, recovery race. To the point now of why bother.

The rules are more complicated then you would think, here is a site thatgives a good explanation
https://inrng.com/2017/12/friday-shorts-16/#more-32666
Innerring is a nice site if you want to follow professional racing.
All in all it is bad for cycling’s image.
But cycling and doping is of all times ( as are all other sports, even if there is only a medal to win people take drugs and the risks), I still like the sport of cycling.

Hardly surprising - what took so long?
Cycling and many, many other pro sports are chock full of cheaters.
No longer watch or follow any pro sports for this reason.

Froome has hired powerful lawyers so expect the sport to be dragged thru the mud, rather than accepting the truth of cheating (or shall we call it = gaining an incremental advantage) and moving on. I concur with Tony Martin's view. This is info that has been undisclosed since late Sept.

Brailsford reaffirms Team Sky's commitment to clean racing Omnisport Jan 2016 https://uk.sports.yahoo.com/news/bra...142616551.html
Maybe someone should explain that "clean" and "laundered" only mean the same thing when discussing clothing.

It's everyone, " if you ain't cheating, you ain't trying". Quote from a Marine Corps flight instuctor, briefing an air to an air training hop in Beeville Texas. I have no idea where he got it from but, if winning is everything, he's right. Actually the back markers are probably clean, the rest haven't been caught yet. Tim

The coolest/calmest people and cats are on C&V which is probably why it was initially posted there.
