I have heard this acronym tosses twice in reading about racers... Is it some kinda telemetry thing??..

It is a power meter, it goes on the crankset (dura ace or record I believe) and it measures watts and transmits the information to an onboard computer...

ery expensive if I remember right (about 3k)

Another benefit to the SRM is that you can use it with any wheels.. It is hard/prohibitive to put a PowerTap hub in a rear disc, etc.
