If the leader yesterday had been someone like Froome he probably would have not attacked, gone ahead and lost the yellow so he could save energy and got it back later. There hasn't been a whole lot of aggression in recent history. Since Armstrong left honestly.
I'm sorry in advance, but I'm feeling like a giant curmudgeon here this last week.

The return to a more aggressive riding style is indeed great, but it's not news to anybody who follows racing beyond the TdF. It's been in evidence gloriously all year long, and if you're seeing it for the first time while watching the Tour, you've been missing out.

Edit: The Froome era is very dead, and I don't know anybody who misses it (except, of course, Froome).

I dunno. Bernal vs. Roglic in the Vuelta, assuming both are healthy, seems like a great match-up to me.

Hoping to see Landa as well, plus Dani Martinez and Ganna? Also hoping to see Lawson Craddock and EF in general on breakaway duty. I suppose if Rigo rides he'll try for GC but maybe some stage wins will better suit him...

... Because he's looking to podium this Tour for sure! I wonder if the summer heat and overall racing will crack Pog and get Rigo/rest of GC within a few minutes before the final TT. Could be a ton of pressure on Pog at that moment, and Rigo is always pretty calm ...
