Adverts on USA/Peacock

Not the Super Bowl I know, but with amount of ad repetition I've developed some strong dislikes and one like.

The Strava ad is great and Hammerhead should fire their agency. Zwift's is just OK

I can't disagree with you on that even though I don't in general even like Strava.

But since I watch the DVR'd race, I usually fast forward through them. The Cliff bar commercial sort of wasn't too bad. But it's slow rural pace didn't quite fit with the TdF, IMO.

Sounds like the same commercials thy use on USA.

Way back in the OLN days, there were also all the cross-promotions for bull riding and bass fishing.

Then came the Michelob Ultra phase.

DVR is definitely the way to go. I’ve inexplicably been watching the USA replays on Peacock rather than on DVR. They insert ads at random times a la YouTube instead of at the places ads were inserted in the original broadcast. Thus, ads play right in the middle of discussions or interesting parts of the race, and the broadcast plays right through the intended insertion points. I suppose like with YouTube it’s meant to aggravate you enough to pay for the ad-free tier.
