Azevedo Gets Number 1
List is up on the Tour site (https://www.letour.fr/2006/TDF/RIDERS/fr/partants.html). They appear to have simply assigned it alphabetically, perhaps.

Yeah, it's alphabetical for Disco.
But Julich getting 11 for CSC... that's interesting.
Now we have three teams working to get an American on the podium, and even in yellow in Paris, and that's not even counting Disco working for George if that pans out.
Phonak for Flandis.
Gerolsteiner for Levi.
CSC for Julich.
Edit: Turns out Julich is first alphabetically for CSC too. He and Sastre will probably be co-leaders.

And I'm kinda thinking that CSC may find themselves riding for Carlos Sastre.
