Stage 5 and a look at sprinters in it

Robbie can win it for sure. But let's keep in mind the probability of other sprinters winning. Stuart O'Grady can win it if he would team up with his teammate Jens Voigt. Tom Boonen has a chance of winning it but he seems to be more interested in yellow...at least until the mountain stages. But sources say he has gotten much better on mountain climbing. Spectators believe that if Boonen can still be perserverant in his grasp to keep the maillot jaune. He could keep it all the way to the Alps stages.
Other sources say that Boonen will lose it before than on the team time trail before the mountain stages. And as seeing that Quick Step is not a huge time trial team, it will not be a huge threat to team discovery and there biggest threat, George Hincapie. As for Mcewen, he is only interested in stage wins and green which shouldn't effect the overall standings. But the question is, is this still an American victory?

The world sprint champion is also competitive in the mountains?
I don't remember a sprint specialist finishing within an hour of the winner.
Boonen is definitely trying on the sprints... he's just not winning them. I doubt Boonen has any expectations of winning the tdf... its just cool to be wearing yellow on as many days as possible.

Here is the question for today everyone;
HOW LONG WILL BOONEN LAST?

Team Time Trial?

Uh, yeah. There isn't one.

I say he gives up the yellow on the ITT Stage 7.

.

The World Sprint champion is Theo Bos...Tom Boonen is the world road race champion. Quite a difference.

Sean Kelly won the green jersy in 1989, finishing in 9th place about 18 minutes behind Greg LeMond.
