The alcohol defence makes very little sense. On the previous stage he bonked badly we are told due to dehydration. Why would you then drink 2 beers and 4 shots when alcohol is known to also dehydrate. On top of that he comes out the next day and has the ride of his life. Doesn't really add up to me.

Weather the alchool makes perfict sense or not the ratio being high normally indicates high testosterone, but in this case it was caused by very low epitestosterone and some what low testosterone. What would he do to cause that? A combination of the alchool and that good looking wife that just came over? What would he take to make that condition that would help him? I think he was racing for that kiss he got from her when he finichesd that stage -

So, he should add his wife to his excuses? haha.
I also get a hangover when I mix beer and liquor. If drinking hit him that hard, he would've had a hangover I suspect which would prompt him to take something that would dull all the pain (from the previous hard ride and the hangover).

No one carries the DogBoy
He did say he was going to hit the drinks that night when he came down to face the press though, so its believable that he did have some drinks. I don't know if it would affect the T/E ratio, or why the amount he claims to have had keeps creeping.

I sometimes have what some would say is a lot of beer and wine at the MS150 overnight parties, but I've also drank some much water and power drinks that it just adds to the sloash and has no effect like drunk or hangover. I suspect he had a lot of water that evening also.
Why not add wife to list of reasons? My first wise crack was as old as I am I'd do that ride for that kiss. (Fourtunely she wouldn't offer to call me on it).-
I still don't understand if his testosterone was low what are we saying he did.
