I didn't understand what Voigt was saying, but I'm glad he went ape on the reporter. I feel bad for the guys who really are clean.

Some interesting replies. I didn't understand what most of them were saying but surprisingly, "no" (and associated language variants) did not seem to be featured among them.

"What do you think?" was very telling.

I'd like to see Jens put a Speedplay cleat through that guy's forehead.

I'd like to see Jens own up to being a walking pharmaceutical closet. My favourite rider in the peleton, but the guy is so obviously juiced.

The guy in the green jersey said "Nein, Neicht" or something like that. So at least one of them said no.

Did you see Jens Voight's face as he clawed his way back to Leipheimer's wheel after being dropped on Monday? I watched the stage. The guy was totally in agony and just made a super effort. You have no proof at all that he is doped and are just using the winner=s doper argument that I've had just about enough of. It is pure and total speculation.

some responses roughly translated:

Question: "Did you already use doping today?"
Guy in the bus: "There isn't a more stupid question, is there?"
"Why is this question stupid?"
"Because you are an *******. Simply therefore."
"Why?"
"Just like that."

"What kind of idiot are you? What kind of idiot are you?"

...

The french rider: "You have to ask Jan Ullrich, types like him. I was 146th all the way in the back."

...

The older fellow: "If you ask this all riders, that is an unbelievable mess. We don't tolearate this here."

In the white jersay: "I don't know if you are serious asking such stupid questions"

"Why this question?"

"Bzz. Bzz. Shut up!"

The guy in the green jersay: "No, not yet. Do I have to?"

"What kind of low-life are you? Did you already cheat on your wife today? Did you already trick your employer... with the expense account? Did you already run a red light? Did you already drive a car with beer in your blood? What kind of idiot are you?"

"First look into your own soul. Are you clean? Are you spotless clean? Then make a report about me?"

"You are just a stupid idiot. Very simple."

Well, Julich is doper, so he would say that. You telling me that a team mate of Basso and an employee of Riis is clean?

Did you see Jens Voight's face as he clawed his way back to Leipheimer's wheel after being dropped on Monday? I watched the stage. The guy was totally in agony and just made a super effort. I am speculating that all the guys at the top of the sport (not just the winners) are doping, seeing as we know that the winners of the most recent Vuelta, Giro and tdf were doping.

Riding hard has nothing to do with wether you dope or not. People who dope don't ride easy while the clean guys suffer. They have natural ability, augmented with doping, and they ride themselves inside out to win. Simple. The guy on the top of the podium has the best combination of genes, training, dope, mental strength, luck and team.

Bobby Julich acquitted himself intelligently.
Floyd could take some media lessons from Bobby, what a class act.

Bobby put Floyd in the crosshairs for the air of doubt the whole peloton is under right now.

Why did Bobby not mention Operacion Puerto and how the implication of the major names in the scandal like Macebo, Basso, and Ullrich, also contributes to that doubt?

Why not question the Giro victory that Simoni thought might have been a little to "extra-terrestrial?"

Julich may be a great guy and class act, but basically blaming ONLY Floyd for the ills in the ProTour is weak.

I missed Bobby trashing Floyd.
I know Julich was not overly sympathetic to Tyler and that was even early on when Tylers positive was announced.
Bobby is thinking, gee if Pantani had gotten busted like he should have AND Jan they I would have won the TdF!!!!!!!!!

That is old news. Right now it is "Floyd's Fault" that everyone thinks that they are dirty, because cycling's marquee event has been tarnished. So he gets to be the scapegoat for the moment. Do you really think Julich thinks that the problem begins and ends with with Floyd Landis?

It seems Simoni was right!

Let's just find some more stuff to hate Bobby Julich for. Any takers?

IFYP. Everybody just hears something and jumps to conclusions. Why doesn't anyone wait to see what happens... Being linked because there is a file with the name of your dog...even though you don't have a dog with that name? Basso could be guilty, but you don't KNOW that yet, so don't make accusations you can't back up.
