Kind of throwing down the gauntlet, isn't he?

Cynicism only goes so far in explaining the irrationality of these folks.

Of course it's impossible to say anyone is clean any other way if you follow their posts and amuse yourself by following the "logic" that would make George Orwell or Franz Kafka take notice, since testing positive is bad and testing negative is even worse since that is merely proof that you have beaten the testers.

And as for me, I am so pathetic I look forward to reading their drivel like a crack addict looks forward to the next vial.

Euro? You of all people..... the most cynical person in the world should know better. No one wins clean in this sport.

Remember the "rules" at Bike Forums. If the test comes back "dirty", you are a doper and a cheater. But, if the test comes back "clean", you simply have fooled the testers, and you are a doper and cheater.

It is easy to remember: at Bike Forums, all cyclists are considered dopers, cheaters, and liars.

Them's the rules. Don't like the rules? Take up polo.

I went to the polo forums http://www.barnmate.com/forum/

There are some nasty people/horse's @$$es over there, there's this one guy/jack@$$, EURASS, you should read some of the crap he posts. To read his insipid manure, The first sign of a horse on dope is that he wins. Someone needs to hit him with one of those long croquet mallet-y looking things.

I think you guys are a little ignorant of the David Millar story. Do some research and come back to me on this one.

Millar is one of the handfull who are clean.

already answered, you like him, ergo he's clean, you don't like landis, ergo he's dirty. next question. the actual use or non-use is really just a straw man argument, apparently.

but for the love of god, don't ever stop posting

Bull****. Why would I like an ex-doping scotsman? I love Voigt and he's obviously doped right up to the eyeballs. Same with my other favourites like Pantani. I really liked Landis before you yankees made him trendy.

Please please please do some reading up on Millar.

Millar is clean because he says so. We should all believe them at their word- regardless if any urine or blood testing says otherwise. Millar may be clean or he may not be but I know that I don't know- I do know that I will give him the benefit of the doubt. Good for him that he won after his ban.

hmmm...

the story I got was that while Millar was getting ready for the Athens Olympics, the police showed up and found used Epogin syringes. He confessed to using EPO. Then he got a two year ban.

If he's clean now, good for him. I hope he wins more races. But I don't believe for one minute he would have fessed up if he had not been caught with the syringes by the police.

FWIW, this would appear to corroborate what I recall reading and hearing.

No. He got caught cheating once - these results may impress his parole officer, not cycling fans!

Millar has also just won the British pursuit title in a time of 4' 22". Arguably on the fastest track in the world but certainly a world class time.

Millar got to where he is by cheating his way to the top. I don't think that he's ever won clean.

Hey, you are stealing Euro's line.

Really ironic thread post you've made Euro. Glad to see Millar doing well.
