Stage 9 on July 17th: the big one! After Col d'Iseran and a long passage to Col du Télégraphe there will be the climb to Col du Galibier starting in Valloire. The summit of Galibier is not too far away from Briancon, so it is a stage which will be decided on top of the Galibier, if time differences are not too small. I rode Iseran, Télégraphe and Galibier 4 times: this is not only difficult in competition, it also has a wonderful landscape ---> my favorite 2007 stage
