Polka dots gift points break.... pretty funny seing these climbs have categories compared to last stages.

Not cycling anyway... Are the climbs steep? they're not very long or high.

These are very minor hills... they're not going to make any difference. Doesn't matter if its after two weeks or five or ten weeks of racing.

Well,

the KOM points are between Soler and Rasmussan. Some think Rasmussan will try to get these points, but I have a feeling that unless SOler or Rasmussan want to join an early break-away bunch, few points will be had by either rider. It might make some sense to Soler to go with the break, since he can fall back after 1/2 of the route and give the last climb to Rasmussan or anyone else in the peleton. He is not in the competition for GC, and even though he is 10th, KOM is more important.

Rasmussan - he would be a fool to attack on this stage. This is the stage for him to sit back, watch Contador and Evans, and stay within their group. Unless Contador or Evans attacks, he is not going to be near the front enough to grab those KOM points.


Edit: Oh well - Soler wins KOM uncontested.

KOM should be wrapped up now (I think). And Barloworld comes through again!

It'll be nice to see a wild card team win a jersey! :D

I think it's fair to say that Soler has won KOM. The chicken is cooked. Lousy cheat.

I predict a walk across the line with maybe some sitting at the start and along the way.

Prediction: Flecha for the win.

all depends on whether Flecha will start today and how his head is after yesterday's events.

(edit) seems that the remaining Rabo riders will start today.

It seems Menchov and Boogerd were most disappointed by yesterday's events, so it wouldn't surprise me if Boogerd climbs off next and finishes his last tour early.

Perhaps Cadel is on roids. Did you see him SLAM that spectator into a van while climbing the other day? It was the BEST moment of this year's tour for sure! Does anyone have a clip to post????
