Now this is a bad day...

I hadn't seen this photo, but did see them attempt to show it on the morning coverage.

They thought there were two accidents, not knowing that Oscar had fallen off the road.

Geez...he's lucky he's only got a broken arm

Glad to see they changed their mind about the broken leg. Toss a pin in that arm and he'll be good to go in a couple of months.

Oscar's fall was pretty bad. Here's another one from 1951. that's Dutch champion Wim Van Est in the Yellow Jersey being hauled back up a cliff with a rope made out of spare tires
