I had the privilege of being at the finish line of stage 2 of the 2008 Tour of Missouri. The 126 mile ride started in Clinton, Missouri, and ended in Springfield. Average speed was 27.5mph.
When the riders came into town, they rode 2 circuit loops, passing the finish line 3 times.
Mark Cavendish was the stage winner, and retained his yellow jersey.
