Versus Fantasy Cycling!
so the Fantasy Cycling is FINALLY up on versus.com. for those who haven't played before it's quite fun, you have a budget, have to build a team of 15 (each member with a different "salary") and chose whom to put in each day.
https://fantasy.versus.com/cycling/draft/draft.asp
i also set up a group for us, just chose "join existing group" and look for "BikeForums.net" allows us to know who amongst us is kicking the most ass
my team:
Alberto Contador
Mark Cavendish
Cadel Evans
Fabian Cancellara
George Hincapie
David Zabriskie
Jens Voit
Oscar Periero
Jurgen Van De Walle
Danny Pate
David Millar
Sergio Pauliho
Volodymir Gustov
Fillippo Pozzato

I like how they still have Tom Boonen on the list
[edit] and it would appear that Versus can see the future, as Boonen is back in the tour [/edit]

Okay, I'm missing something on the VS Fantasy TdF webpages...can someone tell me where to find my team listed in words rather than as a cute little collection of jerseys?

Go to View/Set Lineup at the top of the page and choose Select/Set Lineup from the drop down. This will allow you to move riders from Starter to the Bench and vice versa. Up to Stage 5, you can also change who is on your team. After Stage 5, the team is locked.

Thanks, but I already did that. Just want to find a nice little text (rather than jersey icon) list of my selected team that I can cut-and-paste. Do you know if that's available anywhere?

I just go to the sign in page, enter my name and password:
https://fantasy.versus.com/cycling/index.asp
That brings me to this page, team listing with no jersey icons:
https://fantasy.versus.com/cycling/draft/draft.asp
And as Boleyn says, the main menu "View/Set Lineup" and the first selection under that, "Select/Set Lineup" is the page that shows up as above, no jersey icons. Well at least it does for me.

Sorry, I'm not expressing myself well, as that's not what I'm looking for. I'd like to copy and paste my team list (15 already selected riders) into a word document. Can't do it from the selection page, at least any way that I've tried. I end up with a table with lots of extra information and extraneous formatting. I will keep looking for a plain list of the riders on my fantasy team, without selection grid. Thanks for trying, though!
In a funny and completely unrelated development, the jersey icons have been replaced with photos of each rider. Sort of the TdF version of high school yearbook photos (ie, not particularly flattering, in most cases <G>).

i don't believe that exists. the way i listed my team on here was simply to type in their names, one at a time.
...then you have a list that you can copy and paste as you please

I highlighted and copied my team from the Set/Select screen, and then in Excel "Paste Special" and select the "Text Option". Listed each of the Versus fields in its own Excel cell. Then you can copy and paste the team to your heart's content.

I'm glad today's doesn't count. Scoring on the TTT was a complete joke - dropped riders getting credit as if they finished with the rest of the team.
