I foresee a breakaway that devolves into 3-4 contenders on that last Cat3 climb. Devolder for the win?

I see Contador placing a large stick in Lance's spokes at the last km, gaining at least 30 seconds.

Columbia drags Cavendish over the Cat 3 climb, gains control of the front of the peloton, Cavendish wins another sprint.

More like 35. I don't think those little hills will hurt him enough to matter.

I think if I had the polk-dots, I'd got polka-dot jersey and solid red bib bottom. I think full polka-dots is a little too Dr. Suess-ish...

Yeah, that's how exciting the middle of this race is.... but hey, the breaks got a decent lead, are moving briskly, so who knows. Sh*t happens, right?

Every once in a while I'll see a local rider wearing a polks-dot jersey. I think that takes guts. Every rider around will try to race you up every hill.

Anyone who wears red bibs should be fined and beaten severely about the head and neck area.

3 and a half minutes over 73 km? I'm not sure that's decent enough.

Well, I don't think we have to worry about that dog doing that again. Didn't look like it fared too well.

I have a gut feeling we'll be seeing Cavendish winning most of the remaining non-mountain stages.

Lots of locals show up for the tour and I'm sure the French have their own version of rednecks who think they don't need to keep track of their dogs. "Oh he would hurt anyone."

Red's a good "aggressive colour", nice strong red short with the white with red polk-dots.... nice. Maybe hint of black trim.

And yeah, the break's being held at 4min +/-.... Rolling "climbs" made no difference..... Anyone got a mini-pump to toss in the spokes of yellow and "mix things up a bit"? Some one who's, maybe, a little tooooo tweaked out on some super top secret dopage?

Eurosport....

So Vittel (the water company and sponsor of the TDF) sells 900 million bottles of water across 70 countries annually. There is a 500 hectare protected zone around the source of the spring to stop nitrates seeping into the aquifer. They were the first company to ever package drinks in plastic bottles.... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

900 million plastic bottles per year? That just seems immoral.
