The tour can't end quickly enough for me ...

I'm staying up WAY too late these days in order to catch the prime time OLN broadcast and find that I'm too tired to ride in the morning before work.

Personal note to Lance ... Just get it over with already.

Haha, I have the same problem. I usually listen to the live broadcast at work in the morning, but I have to stay up late and watch the prime time broadcast at night if it was a good stage. I still get my morning ride in most days though.

Where are you getting the live broadcasts from?

G'day,

You blokes think you've got problems!....Here in OZ the tour takes place in the middle of the night...finishing at about 1.30am. We get live telecasts for 3 hours, only on the Sunday nights...the rest of the time, we have to wait until the following day at 6pm to get a half hour highlights package!......some 15 hours after the stage has finished. None of the pay TV sport channels in OZ will cover it!. My solution is to issue all the TDF teams with headlights & run the thing during the night over there...so we can have it on live in Oz during the day!......can you imagine soem of the alpine stage decents with a 10w bulb on the front!....The 'posties' would all have the latest 'infa red' goggles on.....what a new dimension night stages would add to the tour!....(& Hitchy gets to watch!)....Ok we're voting.....hands up all those for night stages.....guys.......guys?.......guys?.......damn,

cheers,

Hitchy

sounds wicked....days of the old...the first tours had night stages, often starting at 3pm.

Running some stages at night? Hmm, I like it!

Why not record the morning "live" broadcast? Then you can watch it when you get home rather than wait for the "late show" edition of the race.

No VCR. Only DVD players.
