It's rediculous that the one of the longest single-sponsored teams in the sport has been kicked out of the ProTour. Sure, they had a tough streak, but at least they won at the Vuelta.
I was also looking forward to see Bouygues' Japanese sprinter's progression in the ProTour ranks.

Both teams were ranked low in the standings...I think the idea of the ProTour was always to be based on results - i.e. - top level of sport.
here's a story on it:

Sky was already announced as getting one.
Sad about those two getting booted - I think of them both as teams that are just always there - never really doing much, but always being a presence. Like Lampre and Milram (now why did Lampre get a three-year extension, but Milram only a one-year?)

it is highly unlikely that this will impact a start for either of the two French teams in the Tour de France. The presence of French stars Thomas Voeckler and David Moncoutié all but guarantee a place in the world's biggest bike race.
