tour announcers

i love phil and paul.
great announcers.
i just hope they talk about someone other than lance . there are 197 other riders in the tour.. lets have an interview with a domistique to find out what its like to ride at the front from the gun till tv time, or other contenders.. lances name was mentioned 10000000000 times last year by phil and paul.
i wonder if they have to say his name so many times???
any other race these guys are middle men just announcing a great race. come tour time ats all about lance. seems like these two change to sucking up to lance..
and i sure hope lance dosent say, like he said last year 10000000000 times and this year too, hes old, that the younger guys should be better.
seems like hes got excuses if he does loose.
joop won the tour at 40, so if lance is the best tour rider of all time, he still has this and next year to match zoop.
i pray for phil and paul to only mention lance if hes in the action, otherwise lets hear the other names.
same with that idiot bob roll.
when you watch races on steephilltv or cycling.tv or the otgher ones, its middle of the road announcers..
wish phil paul and rob roll would be 100% lance and to hell with the other 197 riders.

I like to play the "dancing on his pedals" drinking game to Phil's predictable pronouncements.

I disagree, I only want to hear about Lance Armstrong. If they plan on interviewing anyone else, I might be okay with them interviewing Lance's family, like his dad Neil Armstrong or grandfather Louis Armstrong.

Let's see, Lance is sponsored by The Shack, and Nissan and Nike and a few others. They buy ads on VX.
Lance is the most famous 'mericam=n.
Yeah, they are gonna talk him up a lot.
I'm with you though - they need to not mention him sooo much.

Alphonse, get off my bike.

Actually yesterday I was surprised at how little I even heard the name LA. I watched for 45 minutes and wouldn't even know he was in the race. This was the last 45 minutes of stage 2 and until just after one of the big crashes did I hear the name LA.

The truth is people are watching for LA whether some want to admit that or not. Take him out and watch the ratings plummet so it's in their best interest to over expose his race a bit.

Well, it's too bad you guys couldn't watch it in VO....ahem, original version...

Gerard Holtz used the wonderfully named town of Putte to make the following comment:

"Je n'ai jamais vu autant de fils de Putte sur le bord de la route"

https://tele.premiere.fr/News-Videos/...gid%29/2362732

in english that's - I've never seen so many sons of b!tches on the edge of the road.

now that is some funny stuff

beat that!

The "something special" drinking game is . . . well . . . something special.
