Doping

Did anyone see 60 Minutes story on Doping?

https://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2011/...20064858.shtml

Is this something we don't talk about?

I'll talk about it. I live at around 5000 ft above sea level yet spent most of the month of May at sea level. I enjoyed the free blood doping!

Personally I don't give a crap about what professional cyclists do. It has no impact on me or my enjoyment of the activity.

I just think that the sport should be drug free.

That said I don't think it is right to spend money investigating something that is done and over with. Lance and others are retired and therefore we should leave it alone. The investigators and prosecutors are in it for personnel gain with little or no benefit to society.

The reason I posted was that I looked in Road Cycling and did not see a thread. I don't see why it was moved to this section?

Yes I found it a little while ago. The title was not not that clear when I looked quickly this morning; perhaps it is was due to my caffeine buzz from morning coffee. I wonder when they will outlaw caffeine is professional cycling?

There are so many threads on doping that we try to keep them all together in this section because it pertains to professional cycling. No need to flood other forums with doping when this one already is.
