Wadya wanna bet Lance makes news right at the start of the TdF?

I AM a proud Lance supporter, but something tells me this whole thing comes to a head right at the beginning of the TdF. Your thoughts? I notice he's been very, very silent on Twitter, which he usually is addicted to, so I suspect things are heating up. Didn't they say they suspected an indictment, if it was to come, before the end of June? Call it conspiracy theory, but Novitzky might not be able to resist bringing this all out right when cycling is again in the public's eye.

Wouldn't be surprised, given the TdF organizers' feelings for Armstrong, and their penchant for badly timed news.

i noticed that too and it seems the lawyers have made him STFU... after the latest aspen news it seems the old way is no longer working. he has to be PO'd @ landis who is having a great time w/ social media:

i have no feelings on the whole thing either way... it's just interesting to observe. & it's crazy the amount of hate that it brings to this part of the forum w/ some people acting as if LA killed their baby kittens.

Don't know if he will make real news, but I'm sure the Vrs. announcers will try their best to make him a headliner in a positive way. (Based on the garbage they included about the mussette bag stage in the TDF preview show).

Just announced he intends to be there.

The "Lance Armstrong Awareness Tour" will be making a stop at the TdF then it's on to Iowa: http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/lanc...tour-de-france
