Well it was Omega-Lotto[/URL yesterday, today the drama ball is in BMC's court.

Apparently this guy was only "part-time", but is this simply a case of a guy off doing his own thing or plausible deniability?

Plausible deniability. They set this "part time" guy to be the fall guy if things went south.

Chances are the guy is selling EPO independently, though the team may well be turning a blind eye to it.

I just want to point out this guy was busted in 2009.

That's exactly what I don't want to see happen. The team obviously decides to use EPO, and then the poor SOB that gets caught transporting is the one that will likely get slammed while of course the team paints him as some evil villain. Heck, at first they even denied knowing him, but later recanted, as that must have seemed just too ridiculous.

Well this could be like the 3rd time BMC bicycles get involved with doping :D Yeah... lower prices are coming!

I suppose someone might, if he was being paid highly enough for that part-time job. I have no idea whether or not that's the case here, just speculating.

Why would he go to jail? It's EPO not cocaine.

Maybe he's a nurse and his other part-time job is working at a cancer center?
