2011 Tour de France DVD of villages and towns
 

During this year's Tour, the commentators mentioned that a DVD would be released with only the footage and descriptions of the towns and villages that the Tour goes through. Does anyone know if such a DVD exists? Any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I sure wish I knew. That has always been my favourite sidebar of watching Le Tour. If you find out, please let me know.

I'd be into that too. After our trip to France this year (first time outside North America), we're already planning a "return engagement", and looking for places to put on the itinerary.

Nice of WCP to do this. They should give them out free of charge to anyone who requests one, courtesy of France's Bureau de Tourisme.

I contacted WCP about this, and here was the response:

So it doesn't look like such a DVD exists. :(
