Yeah its going to be tough for me to pull ahead of Oreos, we have very similar teams. So unless Scarponi wakes up a wins a couple I don't know that I'll catch up. I assume Cav will win another stage or two and don't know if Goss can match it.

Called it.

Why Frank Schleck is taking up Rodriquez' spot on my roster, I could not tell you.

I added my team. I have to hope that Cav drops out after Stage 18 and not on the rest day. Now Pozzato is out and I'm in trouble.

Frank is surprising me with his fitness so far in the Giro. He may end up doing pretty good in GC by the end, but I don't think he'll get the high finishes in the stages like Rodriquez can do, and therefore won't rack up quite the points. But, I managed to grab both for my team.

Damn all you Cav pickers. I didn't know much about Mark Renshaw when I picked him.. just wanted to be different from Bos Goss and Cav. Very much regret this decision.

Hahah.. I take it all in good fun.. I may be at the bottom, but it's hilarious on my lack of judgement on riders.

I can [over]confidently say that Cav is going home after Friday's stage, probably after a victory for him unless the crash gremlins strike again. Also Purito has a bad day ahead in the mountains and, though he'll rack up some more points for those of you who picked him, in the end, he'll tail off the podium.

As much as I'm sad to leave my pal eddiepliers behind in the laughing bunch, I'm going to have to pull a David Moncoutie and enignmatically blast from one end of the pack to the other. No time in the middle, hero or goat. If only my boy Bennati had stuck around to vacuum up all those post-Cav sprint points, I'd be unstoppable!

Yes, that's how it's all going to play out. Just like I had it planned.

Cav took the intermediate sprint points on Sunday, presumably to tighten his lead on green. I think he's going to try and stick it out.

It looks like my boy Scarponi almost had the kind of a day I was expecting Purito to have so I didn't pick him.

Nice Lazarus move, Michele. Mamba Point Velo, OTOH, is beyond salvation. Stick a fork in me, I'm done. I may go have a croissant and an espresso with Kreuziger.

Hasta July. Stay strong there at the top of the league, folks, lets' see some of you in the top 10% overall.

Well I though my oreo guys might have fallen out of the podium with the scarponi teams surrounding me, but I think Krueziger might have saved me!

Game over! The final results are up. I think if there were 40 stages or so I might have clawed my way back as my boy DeGendt was just getting into his stride. But I'll be a noble competitor a la Basso and acknowledge that others were better and earned their victory. Well played.

See you at Le Tour.

I finally became the BF fantasy champion. I would like to thank my teammates for making it all possible.

I got lucky, really. I can't pretend that I thought Ryder would win (I was building around Scarponi & Cav), but he did seem like a very good value at 8 points. Without Pozzato & Christian Meier maybe I could have done better on the overall standings (#205).

Good job all! I have to be happy with my podium, considering most of the guys I picked took the quick way out of the Giro. See you guys at Fantasy TdF, watch out for my Oreo's, we are 2/2 for podiums on fantasy grand tours!

I think we have now heard from all 3 of the podium finishers, doing their exit interviews, providing a little face time for their adoring fans, and lording it smugly over the rest of us lowly competitors. Ha ha ha.

Again, well played! Just a few weeks until you have to bring it on again. I hope you're not too tired after all that exertion on the corsa rosa, it might take the wind out of your sails for le gran boucle. Hasta....

Also, for once, I did not finish last. But there are many more races to finish this year!
