And for the first mountain stage today, you may have guessed right also.

Does any rider have an uglier riding style than Froome? Those elbows flared, the head down staring at a power meter. I want to like the guy, but ewes no panache.

I'm rooting for Contador on pedaling style alone!

I think I saw him in this video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-eAogaQxKSo
I thought both stages were awesome. Although Froome is killing it, it is awesome to see Contador trying to beat him specifically. The attacks kept me on my toes constantly.

Also, Froome's lieutenant Porte seems weak (abandons and getting dropped). Contador's lieutenant Rogers seems strong (two stage wins in Giro).

I'm rooting for Contador because he at least occasionally has a bit of Merckx in in him. E.g. not being content to hold his position and perhaps grab a few seconds at the end, but instead to attack and break the race to pieces.
Not as often as Eddy, but at least occasionally.

Yes, I love that about Contador.
The other thing I like is that he wants to win stages, not just chip away at his GC rivals. Froome shares that quality, and in truth I find him quite exciting to watch, even if some of the suspense is wondering when he'll burst into flames.

I also like Contador's guts and dislike Froome's bobblehead style. Both are extremely talented but I am rooting for Contador. Whoever wins, it is an exciting race.

I'd rather see Froome win than Contador.
Don't wish Contador any ill, it's just the baggage.

Like watching a first-time weekend group rider trying to remember everything his cat3 co-worker told him on Friday.

Cycling has a code of sportsmanship. It is not iron clad but in this situation, waiting for the yellow jersey seems pretty appropriate.

Westra takes stage, Contador takes yellow by 8 seconds from Froome with one mountain stage to go.

Froome's crash in the previous stage does not surprise me, based on his riding style. Also, by the few seconds he made up after Contador broke away, it is clear that he can match Contador, but big mistake to let his closest rival get away. Froome is strong, but not so sure of his experience?
Only choice tomorrow, is to drop Contador and stay away, he would have to do that on his own. Not going to be easy.

Did he really make up any seconds? When Porte was at the front, the time difference was 18", it was 20" at the finish. I might have missed something but from what I thought - Froome indeed made up some time at the beginning but then he cracked (the reason why the Garmin guys could pass him).
Well, anyway. Thank God there are still some champions who look human and can challenge Sky )

Froome/Sky's style is excruciatingly painful to watch. As a fan, give me the attacking style of Contador or Nibali any day over the race-by-the-numbers approach of Sky.
Good to see Contador make a statement today. I guess not being able to snort Xenon is affecting Sky.
