TDF Stage 18

Well, this is it, the last climbing stage of the TDF. They've just begun climbing the Col de Tourmalet, so we'll soon know who the final yellow and polka dot jersy wearers will be.

Yellow and KOM won't change. Valverde will be attacked on final climb.

Right now Valverde has attacked on the descent from the Tourmalet and joined with two teamates to put some distance between himself and the French riders.

15 seconds and now back together. We'll see how he does against Peraud and Ag2r on the Hautacam.

I love Time Warner. NBCSN has been out of service for the last 30 minutes.

Nibali is going to win the stage. He just blew past Nieve, so Team Sky will be shut out in the tour.

Chris Horner is taking 35 minutes on Nibali and will likely be in yellow today.

Did you see that girl in the bikini top and black shorts and her elbow out with phone up to her ear? Nabali clattered her good.

He elbowed her! Her phone went flying. Definitely a lesson on not having your back to the race while obliviously playing with your phone. I Thought it was hilarious!

Ya think?

Team Sky was shut out the minute Froomie was out of the tour. They've become "21st Century DROPPED"

Nibili... we all saw what he did. Incredible.

That was in crystalline terms the absolute, "The middle finger" to Team Sky. He did it wearing the Yellow Jersey!

Without Wiggins this year, there's nobody left on Sky to have given it back to him either. Pity.

David Brailsford should be demoted down to the local renessaince faire and be set in a stockade while giggling children slap him in the face with yellow cream pies, as adults lean-in and take "selfies".

Yeah, obviously on phone waving at the lead moto camera for the benefit of friend(s) watching. Well. she had her 3 seconds of infamy and should be feeling pretty stupid right now.

The guy on the moto behind Nibali shoved her the rest of the way back into the crowd too

I chuckled at that as well.

Good post race comments from TJ acknowledging the strength of the other riders.

When you watch that in slow motion you can really see that he did it on purpose. He could easily have moved around her.

On another note, I think Majka has a lot of heart. I was really pulling for the guy. So even though Nibali rode away there was still a lot of great racing today. The TT is going to be worth watching!
