First podium + proud dad + 2 rides in a day (pics)

Yesterday was Little DeViL's comeback to the kids league, after several attempts and schedule conflicts with the road bike league Pepe finally participated on a mountain bike race. Everyone was nervous because we didn't had a clue on how he would perform because this was his first race on the year on dirt.

Off they went and due to a bad start he was next to last on the start, the race was 4 laps around a fenced soccer field with 1 nice climb, that gave him the opportunity to recuperate loss ground and pass several riders. At the end he finished 3rd and we all were very happy for him and off course very proud.

Have no podium pics due to worn out batteries.

We made it home about 3:30pm, he quickly grabbed the remote control and started to watch NASCAR while I gathered our gear for the next item on the cycling agenda, we were going for a night ride.

We left around 6:30pm to a town called Florida and started to ride at around 8:00pm, we chose 3 sections of the trail that were not that difficult so he could enjoy the ride; we did a couple of laps. Pepe had done mellow night rides before but this one was special, we have never seen so many suicidal frogs on our life. For him even dough he was tired was awesome and can't wait to do it again, we'll see.
