Snow, sunshine, 15 miles, clouds, wind and snow again!!
We had a break from the snow today and had some sunshine.
I rode the bike to get my haircut, and, what the heck, after my haircut JUST KEPT GOING.
They plow our wonderful bike paths - hey, today I went for 15 miles, never crossed a road, followed a beautiful stream, met up with 2 other bikers, 4 joggers and 6 walkers, never heard a car and was able to meditate in my own "biking" way.
So, off I went, most of the snow had melted, but there was white on the sides from the plowing.
Thought I might just go for 5-10 miles. Just kept on going and did 15. The sun was shining, but you could see the clouds moving in from the NW for our predicted snowstorm this evening.
The temperature was a brisk 34 F, and on the way back the wind was kicking up to about 20 mph. Very, very refreshing.
I was clad in my classic biking clothes - underpants, Levis, cotton T-shirt, sweat shirt, tennies and a wind breaker with a hood, along with my very great Target gloves. All the recommended attire!!
Anyway, it was an absolute blast, especially after being in the hospital yesterday!!
EDIT - ABOUT TWO HOURS LATER.
Yep, it is now snowing again. We need every inch we can get!!
