Pictures of morning ride
Here are some pics of my ride this morning. The pics were taken previously, as the 33 pics I took this am went somewhere into vapor land when I tried a download.
Anyway, I wanted to try Powerpoint as a way of getting multiple pics on a page with captions.
I can catch this trail from the spur which goes right behind my house. 1/2 mile to the trail. From there I can go about 24 miles with never crossing a street - the trail goes under all road intersections following the creek. A connection goes about 70 miles west and north, and soon this trail will connect in another way to downtown Denver through Cherry Creek Park. Just about 1.5 more miles to build, and a couple of bridges, and I can do a Century Loop totally on trails like this!!
Ride - 23 miles
Time - a long time, no hurry, took a lot of pics.
Temp - about 59F, perfect for riding.
Overcast, a few sprinkles
I saw about 20 bikers and 20 hikers over the 23 miles - about 1.7 bodies per mile!!

Denver, thanks so much for sharing these pics. It is a beautiful trail. I like the way that it isn't open to autos. When I ride in the nearby park, I have to share the road with autos as well. I'll try to take some pics and send. I don't have Powerpoint. I do have a couple of picture
editing programs, so I'll see what I can do.
BTW, I did my first ride this morning using my new cyclocomputer. Was disappointed to find I wasn't doing quite as many miles as I thought.
Just knew it was wrong, but got hubby to make the same trip in his truck and it is right.
The temp was already 80 when I did my ride this morning. whew! Son and daghter-in-law are coming down for Father's Day tomorrow and bring their bikes and we will all do some riding in the park.

Thanks. I really enjoy this and other trails we have around here. To me, getting out early in the morning in peace and quiet, hearing the birds, seeing the wild roses, feeling the cool 60 degree breeze, and riding about 20 miles is very restoring.
I would love to see your pics.
I would be interested in what other photo editing software easily allows you to combine pics and save the whole kaboodle as a jpeg file. I have found this a challenge with the 3 photo editing programs I have, and just tried Powerpoint, which I have used little.

Denver, I would bet that the pics are downloaded into some obscure sounding directory in your computer software files. Just a guess, that is what mine tries to do, if I don't specify where the pics should go. -

Nope. In long conversations with Sipix, I may have a defective camera. I get a "Blink2cw" error, which means corrupted files in the camera. They issued me a RMA, and I may send it back. They confirmed that it is NOT downloading.
