And love these bikes for us we ride the subdivision right now which is about a 3 mike trip once around Tried MTB and did not like that for what type of riding we do. looking to ride about 1-hr a day to start These are fun bikes to ride . And a bike that is fun to ride will be rode. We hope to carry them with us on trips this fall. Any way Love these bikes and looking forward to dropping a few pounds also

Nice ride
Just to let all know we have had the new bikes about 2 weeks now and have been rideing about 5 miles ,5 times a week .We have really enjoyed these two bikes .They are very comfortable and a blast to ride. Even though it has only been two weeks we seem to be feeling better .

Good for you! That is what it's all about. (some people will try and tell you that the Hokey Pokey is what it's all about, but in reality, it is BIKING!

Great to hear you're enjoying your bikes. Hear lots of nice things about Townies. So, are you riding for an hour or 1/2 hour per trip? Where do you plan to take your Townies for trips? Any pics?

Similar style bikes (pedal crank forward) are the Giant Suede and Trek Pure. I recently bought my wife a Suede DX-W, pretty similar to the Townie 21, but a little bit smaller frame. She liked the style of the Townie, put it was physically a little bit too big for her.

I think Townies are very stylish looking. Too bad they aren't sold in my area. Breezers are very nice too.
