Anyone actually using a Yepp Mini
A couple of very experienced riders trying to get first hand info on using a Yepp.
Is the bike a handful with the weight added high and on the stem
Will a large infant rattle the HB moving around
Will the ride be rough for the 22lb toddler
I have only used Burleys but even at best we are 9 months away from our daughter riding in a trailer.
I am sure a Yepp will do for going 3 mile RT to the park, but what about 15 mile RT to shopping center?
Any first hand experience would be greatly appreciated.

I used a Bobike Mini, which is very similar, for 3 years, after having used an iBert for a year before that. I briefly tried the Yepp Mini, but I did not find it to be as comfortable for me--the seat seems to angle back more than the Bobike Mini, which left less room for mounting and dismounting and I felt like I had to splay my legs further apart. On the other hand, I have a friend who had no such issues with her Yepp Mini. I love front-mounted seats, so much so that I put up with the heft of my Work Cycles Fr8 just so I can continue to have my son up front now that he's outgrown the Bobike Mini. We pushed the weight limit so I could keep using the Bobike Mini for as long as possible. I never felt it was unstable and find the front seat much easier to balance and control than having the weight in a rear seat. I do recommend, if you can, adding a Velo Orange wheel stabilizer and a double kick stand. We used the Bobike Mini for a 60-mile round trip bike camping trip when my son was 2.5 and he had no complaints.
