Chariot ezHitch and disc brakes

Heya folks,

We have a chariot stroller that fits well on my wife's bike, but I'm curious if I can get it attached to mine. I've got disc brakes on my bike in addition to a bike rack so there's not a lot of room.

Has anyone ever had luck getting the Chariot ezHitch on a bike with disc brakes?

Here's a pic where it would mount. My finger's touching the axle. The place where the fender mount just to the right of my finger sticks out about an inch.

Cleaning up my threads. My LBS was able to get this installed. I have to loosen the QR every time I take the Chariot on/off, but hey, it works.

it's a tight fit, but definitely do-able. to up the ante, i have even more stuff from my IGH potentially getting in the way. as you've noted, the biggest problem is actually the rear rack, not the brake. there are "disc compatible" racks that do this better than simple long-spacers (the axiom and tubus disc-specific racks come to mind).

picture of the axiom rack on the original derailleur version of my bike, but minus the hitch:

for my part, here is a photo of my hitch setup with a fender stay instead of the rack; in actuality i can run both together without problem (yes, it is a very snug fit). note: i'm now running the QR lever (not nut) on the non-drive side (contrary to this picture). there's not much reason why, but it demonstrates that i can and have done it successfully either way (and for 1000s of miles).
