Xtracycle banana seat mounted as child seat?

Xtracycle banana seat mounted as child seat?
I'm hoping to mount an Xtracycle frame extension on a Cannondale MTN bike frame, The rear will attach to a standard sissy bar with a back pad to serve as a seat for my kids. I want to keep the seat fairly level and there is no seat tube to mount the front of the banana seat. My late night idea was to cut down a kids bike frame so shortened seat stays fit into the front rack holes and the seat tube faces the rear to mount the front of the seat. Anyone else attempt anything like this? I'll post a drawing of my idea as soon as I can.
