A guy in our neighborhood had a very similar setup for commuting his kids to the elementary school across from my house. His lead steed was a tandem. So he was the pilot, with the oldest as a stoker and the youngest on a trail-a-bike, then a trailer for all the backpacks. Has a rubber duck glued to the top of his helmet.

I can't tell you how many miles me and my three boys have cycled in that set-up... If I was to guess it'd be in the low thousands. Good times!

Alright...someone needs to raise the stakes with a tandem + trailer bike + trailer! And if they're really crazy, a top-tube mounted seat on the tandem!
