Officially riding again, FINALLY

Well I know this isn't the introduction area but I'm introducing anyway. My name is Jamie, 40 tomorrow from Oklahoma. I use to ride a bunch 6 years ago and we started fostering and well lets just say the little ones we had back then required all my time so I sold my bike. Well now we have 2 little ones we've recently adopted from the foster system and they are loving some trailer time. We have 3 teenage daughters that I'm trying to get into riding but with cheer, boys and band who has time for that right (sigh). So here's my recent CL find. I really wanted a road bike but looking for a bit more comfort at first. The bottom pic was taken today before we hit the road.

Awesome. It looks great. I miss my two riding in the same trailer together - made things a lot easier. You are probably better off with that bike than the road bike pulling the trailer. In my opinion, it is nice to have a little more heft to the bicycle itself when pulling. My DH disagrees so I guess it is all in each's own opinion. Happy belated birthday.
