Ride with my daughter. 1/4 mile, >200 thorns.
So my daughter and I went for a ride to get some breakfast. Instead of sticking to the streets I decided to take a "short cut" down an unpaved trail that runs along the wash. I saw those low-lying plants and said to myself "Hmm... those look like the ones that have those nasty thorns." Then I look at my tires... COVERED in thorns. All our tires were flat in a few seconds. Luckily, we were less than 1/4 mile from home. Unluckily, it took three hours to get all the thorns out of both of our bikes.

Oh that doesn't sound like fun. Don't take that path again (as if you didn't know).
