almost finished packing
got the big stuff, but a couple more duffles are going on this roof, if my son can part from his girlfriend long enough to pack, ugh

Wow. You sure those two bikes closest to the Subie aren't going to punch a hole in the back of the car? I'd be worried about the pedals scratching up the car, the bikes are mounted so close.

haha it might have tipped over if we kept loading. we actually added another layer of duffle bags to the roof rack. it certainly sagged in the back. I guess the rear springs are soft. my escape never sagged that much. we made it there and back and took it slow. we were the slower vehicle in the right lane on this trip. the bikes closest to the car were fine they were on a hatchback rack and didn't touch the car.
