This observation is worthy of its own thread. Startup costs are out of reach for many kids. I see it all the time. Absent a parent who is an enthusiast, most kids won't ever get the chance. And if they do get the chance, there is the high cost that comes at around the same time they are thinking about saving for a car, or for a snowmobile (where I live), or for a four-wheeler. Most kids where I live with a thousand bucks to spend are going to throw it at something motorized.

I think the bigger problem is you've allowed your child to become addicted to video games. My suggestion would be to follow the advice of the parent in the video below before he transforms into a zombie.

Or just leave kids to play games.. Why to destroy something for what i just did give couple hundreds of bucks? it is even better not to buying consoles at all.. But if you do not treat you child with such delicacy, he/she will start playing online games eventually.. you can not take away a smartphone to your kid, and online games can be played on phones now.. So, at the end you can not fight against it, just control it as much as you can.. My philosophy is: be a pal with them, play games with your kid (not too much time), compete with them, see who will win.. It is better way to spend some good time with your kid and to satisfy their need for playing games... You can learn a lot how they see things around and you can control time how long they will spend time in front of computer or TV.. I think it is a win-win situation, better then yelling: "Stop waste time playing games.." I can suggest website for a start: www.bmxgames247.com/bike-games and you can search on Google rest of good online game websites..
