biking and camping in Maine

Ok - trying to plan a summer trip to Maine -- biking and camping -- in August.

does anyone have any advice -- - this will be a very new experience for my daughters.
"Daddy" has a new job and will not be able to take time off . .. this is a "ladies" trip!!! so will appreciate any advice/tips.

we will be stopping at moose lake a couple day - - - - (primarily to do a canoe moose safari) my research indicate Mt Baker State Park to be quite hilly and perhaps to much for biking.

the majority of our trip will be along the Maine Coast - - Acadia National Park, Boothbay Harbor, Portland/Casco Bay, then southern beaches - Wells/Kennebunkport/York/Oguinquit area.

so far -- my research indicates these areas will be perfect for biking around within each area.

thanks for any insight ... marianna
