suspension fix for a Rans Vivo?
I've got a Vivo with lotsa miles on it...a fun comfy ride. But it's developed some rear end suspension looseness.
I've narrowed it down to the inside of the lower swingarm pivot. Tightening the fitting bolts don't help. Methinks there's a bushing inside the pivot that's worn out.
BTW how the heck does this pivot come apart? After loosening both side bolts, it doesn't slide in or out. I haven't really put lotsa oomph on it cuz I don't wanna damage the bolt threads.
I've contacted Rans a few times about this, but they don't help. Got any clues? Thanks.

Looks like a spring/circlip in your pix. Probably one on the other side as well. Remove these and see what happens. If no joy, you may have to devise
a way of pressing the shaft out, assuming it goes all the way through the yellow housing. You would only have to press it the distance from the bolt
thread end to the yellow housing to allow the swing arm to come off and to check the bearings-probably sleeve bearings of some kind.

Short of fumbling with it myself, I don't know the answer. You might try asking over at Bentrideronline, or you could join the RANS Yahoo group, https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/RANSbike/info and ask there.
