Would someone be kind enough to see if you can connect to the site bentrideronline.com ? Thanks.

Hasn't worked for me since earlier this morning. Still down.

Still seems to be down.

I've seen some strange postings (spam and foreign text characters) early in the am and my guess is their doing some maintenance.

This site tries to connect from several places around the world, to verify if a site is totally down or not.

I think we knew it was down. Starting the thread was like a test of the emergency BROL backup network. They must have hit him pretty hard because it's still down this morning.

Yeah, it still seems to be down.

Possibly a DDoS attack like previous outages. Several times last year and one already this year. We can't possibly be important enough to warrant all the attention, so I wonder why BROL is a target so often?

On the BROL Facebook site Bryan said the hard drive had a hiccup which caused the server to go into rescue mode. Whatever that means. New server installed and now data being transferred to it.

Still down as of 9:30PM PST. According to a post on Facebook, Bryan is getting the last bits fiddled.

I don't know if it represents progress, but now when I try to browse to bentrideronline.com or bentrider.bike, I get an Apache 2 Test Page. So the DNS is pulling something up, just not what I expected.

Just now checked. Worked for me. No very recent posts, though.

Yep, BROL is up and running again. More like biking than running.
