Recumbent What IS that thing?! Recumbents may be odd looking, but they have many advantages over a "wedgie" bicycle. Discuss the in's and out's recumbent lifestyle in the recumbent forum.

Recumbentpalooza ride in Portland

It's Pedalpalooza time in Portland, so we had a recumbent ride from Terracycle to Rose City Recumbents to RecumbentPDX. There were about 10 bikes and a couple dozen trikes on our 8 mile loop. Thanks to Pat Franz and Terracycle for the post-ride nourishment.

Cool! Nice to see the former Coventry location still serving the recumbent market.

Got anything going on in August? I'll be in Seattle and could see myself bringing my grandson along to ride our Catrikes.

Actually, August will be kind of quiet. That used to be the month of the Recumbent Retreat, but it's been moved to September due to campground logistics issues: Recumbent Retreat About

Too bad. I'll be back in St Louis.
